As a young photographer I remember being inspired by a warm breeze blowing across the pre-dawn Mojave Desert. That breeze brought the subtle fragrance of the desert. The landscape was dark and bleak, but there was something more than what my eyes alone could record. There is an essence to the natural world that is rarely captured. It has become my goal to record that essence.
